What is microblading?
Microblading is a semi-permanent eyebrow enhancement technique.
Unlike permanent makeup, whose colour may change over time, microblading gradually fades, usually within about one year. The technique consists of implanting pigments into then superficial layers of the skin using fine, delicate incisions.
This method respects the hair follicles and does not interfere with the natural growth of the eyebrows.
Before any treatment, a personalised facial analysis is carried out. When appropriate, a preliminary simulation allows you to visualise the ideal brow shape and confirm the overall harmony of the result before proceeding.
Why choose microblading?
Microblading is ideal for sparse, uneven or missing eyebrows.
At BuiCil, every microblading treatment begins with a precise assessment of your face, your natural hair growth and your proportions. When offered, the simulation allows you to visualise the result and fine-tune the shape, shade and intensity to suit your face perfectly.
The eyebrows are then carefully redesigned hair by hair, respecting your natural expression, to achieve a subtle, balanced and long-lasting result. We use high-quality, hypoallergenic pigments and sterile equipment.
As the incisions are superficial, the sensation remains very manageable and healing is generally quick.
Before the treatment
- – Avoid intense physical activity just before the appointment
- – Avoid sun exposure or sunburn
- – Do not take aspirin 24 hours prior to the procedure
After the treatment
- – Eyebrows may appear darker and fuller during the first 10 days
- – 4-5 hours after the procedure, boil water and let it cool, then gently dab the eyebrows with a cotton pad to remove any residue
- – Keep the area completely dry for 10 days. Avoid excessive sweating, makeup, creams, and sun exposure
- – Do not remove the scabs
Ongoing care
- – Use a high-quality sunscreen, as sun exposure causes the pigment to fade more quickly
- – Avoid chemical peels or any exfoliating treatments near the eyebrows area
Healing process:
- Days 1-2: Brows may appear 20-40% darker and slightly wider than the final result
- Days 3-4: Itching may occur – this is normal; do not scratch or remove anything
- Days 5-7: Scabs begin to fall off; the colour may appear very light at first, then gradually darken
- Days 30-40: The pigment has fully settled into the skin

After healing, some areas may occasionally appear slightly lighter.
This touch-up is offered only if necessary, to even out the colour. In many cases, the outcome after microblading is already well balanced and does not require an early touch-up.

The longevity of microblading varies significantly from one person to another. Depending on how the pigment evolves, a touch-up may be considered between 6 months and 2 years.
This session is designed to refresh the colour and maintain the harmony of the result over time, only when necessary.
